The Judicial Office
The Judicial Office supports the University's student appeal systems (the Senate Standing Committee on Petitions for Academic Appeals; the Judicial Committee and Hearing Board for Non-Academic Appeals).
- Senate Committee on Student Petitions
Academic: The Senate Committee on Student Petitions is responsible for academic related appeals, for instance, appeals of academic consideration, academic misconduct or grade reassessment decisions.
- Judicial Committee or Hearing Board
Non-academic: The Judicial Committee hears cases where a student has been charged under the University of Guelph Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy (PDF) - (non-academic student misconduct policy).
