Autograph Session With Cassie Campbell Set

The U of G community is invited to a special on-campus autograph and question and answer session with Guelph graduate Cassie Campbell, captain of the gold medal Canadian women's hockey team April 6 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. RSVP by March 30 to as space is limited.

Campbell is one of the most successful and recognizable players in women's ice hockey history. Captain of the Canadian national team since 2001, she is a six-time world champion and three-time Olympic medalist, collecting silver in 1998 in Nagano, gold in 2002 in Salt Lake City and gold in 2006 in Torino.

The 32-year-old, who originally hails from Brampton, Ontario, is a sociology and nutrition graduate from U of G and represented the hockey Gryphons from 1992-1996. In 1996, she was awarded U of G's W.F. Mitchell Award.
