“I was initially attracted to the University because of the unique Arts and Sciences program offered at Guelph. I had the opportunity to pursue my diverse interests and to connect with the greater Guelph community through the program’s community involvement component. My most recent experience was Project Serve Mississippi, where 42 Guelph students travelled to the Gulf Coast to do relief work for Hurricane Katrina and to learn more about civil rights. In the classroom, I have been able to pursue my interests in philosophy and biology through work in bioethics. As a result of this work, I have decided to pursue a career in law. At Guelph, students are encouraged to discover who they are as individuals and we receive unique personal responses from the faculty and staff.”
