Rick Mercer Coming to College Royal, OVC

Comedian and satirical political commentator Rick Mercer will be at College Royal Sunday filming for his show the Rick Mercer Report.
Mercer plans to attend events such as the square dance competition, tractor pull, logging contest, dog show and teddy bear surgery. College Royal, the University’s annual open house, is being held Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, Mercer will spend Monday at the Ontario Veterinary College, touring and filming at the college and teaching hospital.
The Rick Mercer Report, a half-hour comedy show, airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBC. The format is similar to Mercer's prior series, This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
