Integrative biology professor Paul Hebert and his colleagues are featured in national and international news for their groundbreaking research on DNA barcoding and how it’s helped identify 15 overlooked species of North American birds and six new species of bats.

A Canadian Press article appeared in the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, CTV, and in newspapers across the country. A story also appears on the CBC website.

Hebert's research is also featured in a Scientific American article, the TimesOnline out of the United Kingdom, in a Reuters article that was published in newspapers across the United States, and news sources from India and China.
