Prof. Julia Christensen Hughes, chair of the Department of Business in the College of Management and Economics, is featured in today's Globe and Mail.
In the article, she and professors from other Canadian universities talk about ways teaching practices have changed to engage a tech-savvy generation of students. Christensen Hughes, former director of Guelph's Teaching Support Services, says that although technology should enrich lectures, it should not be a substitute for face-to-face contact.
