November 23, 2007 - In the News

U of G student Aiden Abram and recent graduate Jennie McDowell will be featured on the Weather Network discussing their upcoming trip to the United Nations climate change conference in Bali, Indonesia.

David Anderson, director of the Guelph Institute for the Environment and former environment minister, will also be featured.

The story is currently being aired every hour as part of the network's weather news segment until Dec. 14.

In addition to Abram and McDowell, there are four recent U of G graduates who have been chosen to attend the international conference Dec. 3 to 14 as part of the Canadian Youth Delegation.

They will join about 100 youth from around the globe to voice their concerns and advocate for strong politices surrounding climate change.

Abram, who is the coordinator of the Canadian Youth Delegation, also appeared on CBC News Morning.
