U of G research aimed at investigating how to turn corn husks, stalks and leaves as well as straw, switchgrass and even wood chips into usable biofuels is featured today in an international Reuters news report.

The article and video clip include an interview with Prof. Anthony Clarke, Molecular and Cellular Biology and assistant vice-president (academic). Clarke, along with Guelph physicist John Dutcher and chemist Jacek Lipkowski, is examining how to break down the plant cellulose and unlock the biofuels from the wasted biomass.
