Historic Agreement Signed

Members of both negotiating teams met Thursday to officially sign the first collective agreement between the University and the University of Guelph Faculty Association (UGFA).
The celebratory event also brought together leaders from the University and UGFA, which represents approximately 850 faculty, librarians and veterinarians. Both parties have expressed an ongoing commitment to continue their collegial relationship.
The collective agreement, which was ratified last spring, is available online. Hard copies will be available before the fall semester.
