The Ontario Veterinary College's Institute for Comparative Cancer Investigation is featured today in the Globe and Mail. The two-page story, which appears in the Science section, looks at how by studying and caring for dogs with cancer, researchers can develop new ways to help fight the disease in animals and people.

The first of its kind in Canada, the Institute for Comparative Cancer Investigation provides comprehensive cancer care for pets while advancing cancer research and training future cancer specialists. It involves nearly 40 U of G cancer investigators whose work ranges from the basic biology of cancer to its social and psychological impacts.
