Prof to Discuss 100 Days of Happiness on CBC

March 26, 2014 - In the News

Prof. Jamie Gruman, Department of Management, is being interviewed today by local CBC Radio stations across Canada on the 100 Days of Happiness Challenge. The challenge prompts people to take a photo each day of something that makes them happy. Gruman will discuss how the science of positive psychology suggests the challenge might be off-base and maybe even harmful for some people. He will appear on various CBC stations, including Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria. Gruman is also scheduled to discuss the topic on CBC’s The National tonight. He is a founding member and chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association.
