Winter 2027 Programs

The following programs are available for January intake: 
 

*Course selection for the Winter semester will be limited as some first-semester courses typically offered in the Fall may be not be available. This may affect the sequencing of your program. Upon successful application and confirmation of acceptance, you will be advised to contact your Academic Advisor for guidance during course registration.

The programs listed above are available for winter intake. Visit our programs page to explore all programs available for the fall 2027 intake. 

The application deadline for winter 2027 entry is October 1, 2026. We encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible to allow for sufficient time to apply for their study permit. 

International undergraduate students are guaranteed university housing for the duration of their academic endeavours at U of G.

First-year Canadian citizens and permanent residents applying from outside of Canada are guaranteed residence for their first year of studies.

To be eligible, you must accept your offer to the University of Guelph, apply to residence, and pay the $750 CAD residence deposit by November 15, 2026, to start in January.

The Global Pre-Arrival Support (GPS) team at U of G is here to assist international students with their next steps, including immigration and study permit applications. Following your offer of admission, you will be contacted by a GPS Advisor with further information and ways to connect with their team.

U of G offers orientation events and programming in January to support your transition to life in Canada. Our International Student Experience team works year-round to offer events and support related to study and work permits, homesickness, housing, part-time jobs, academic transition, and more throughout your degree.
