The longlist  for the 2015 Sobey Art Award [3] includes three alumni from the University of Guelph's MFA Program:

Maggie Groat, Derek Sullivan and Tiziana LaMelia.

Each year, the Sobey Art Award is awarded to a visual artist age 40 and under who has exhibited in a public or commercial art gallery within 18 months of being nominated. The winner receives $50,000, each of four shortlisted finalists receives $10,000, and $500 goes to each of the remaining longlisted artists. (Canadian Art)
