This course examines the metaphysics of space and time. It surveys the interplay of our metaphysical and scientific understanding of space and time from the ancient Greeks to the present day. Along the way, we shall examine other, deeply connected metaphysical issues including free will, causation, mental/physical dualism, determinism, modality, substance, identity and the supernatural.
