Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics
About the Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics
In the Ph.D. program students will typically take 12 semesters to work on a traditional thesis-based research project and write a thesis. This program will provide students with the opportunity to develop research and communication skills in bioinformatics at a world-class level. Students will take at least one course and complete a qualifying exam. Students can enter the program during any semester, but an advisor must be identified before an offer of admission can be made.
