Beer Making Class – Women's Brew Lab

Interested in learning how to brew your own craft beer?

This class is a step by step walk-through of the all-grain brewing process including explanations of the equipment and ingredients needed to start home brewing.

Spend an afternoon at the University of Guelph Food Science brewing lab and learning how to brew a classic farmhouse ale using all-grain brewing techniques!

Who is the Class Designed for?

This course is suitable for beginners who have no previous brewing experience.

Those who have an interest in learning how to make their own beer using basic all-grain brewing equipment

In this 4-hour session, you will be guided through a demonstration of all-grain brewing.

  • Equipment – all of the things you will need to make beer at home
  • Ingredients – Water, Malt, Adjuncts, Hops and Yeast
  • The Process – step by step instructions for successful brewing
  • Common beer faults – how to identify them

Class Fee: $55 plus HST (13%) in Canadian funds. Includes class handouts (instructions and formulation).

Class capacity is 15 registrants

Must be 19+ on date of class with photo ID
