Professors von Massow and McAdams Tipping Research in the Globe & Mail

Getting rid of tipping may help improve restaurant culture. The School's tipping experts, Mike von Massow and Bruce McAdams [1], talk about results of their recent study that interviewed approximately 100 managers and servers on the topic. What they found was that tipping causes a number of challenges ranging from controlling the quality of service to rivalry among staff.
