John F. Wood Centre Peer Helper Opportunities
Passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, ideation, and teamwork?
The John F. Wood Centre is looking for 4 peer helpers to support our team in a variety of ways!
This program provides students with an opportunity to create powerful impact for their peers and members of the local community. Some of the soft skills you will practice while being a Peer Helper include leadership, communication, ideation, and collaboration.
The Roles
The Wood Centre Peer Helper roles you can apply for are

Social Media Peer Helper
Help to run the Wood Centre social media channels

Events Peer Helper
Assist the Program Coordinator with designing and implementing Wood Centre events, including finding speakers and logistics of events

Hub Peer Helper
Help the Hub Incubator Services Manager run the Hub each week, mentoring our startups who are bringing their ideas to life

Makerspace Peer Helper
Will run sessions on how to use MakerSpace equipment including 3D printing!
