About
My research interests address social justice experiences and concerns faced by First Nation’s populations, for example, within topic areas of mental health, criminal justice, and education. More specifically, I am interested in understanding the transitional experiences of First Nation’s post-secondary students in Ontario.
The Social Practice and Transformational Change PhD Program would allow me to apply and integrate Indigenous knowledges and perspectives into my work and deconstructing western policies and programs within high school preparation. The program would provide a great opportunity to network, build community, and collaboration to neighbouring Indigenous communities such as Six Nations of the Grand River.
