Redefining the Future with Your Support
As part of the University of Guelph, the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences (CSAHS) contributes to the university's reputation as one of Canada’s top comprehensive universities, recognized for its strong commitment to student learning, innovative research, and meaningful community impact. Your support is essential to our continued success and growth into the future.
When you give to the college, you're doing more than supporting education–you're empowering students, faculty, and researchers to improve lives, strengthen communities, and shape a better world. Whether it's funding scholarships, developing student training opportunities, or building laboratories for leading-edge research, every dollar makes a lasting impact.
On behalf of our entire college community, thank you for your generosity. Every contribution helps to improve life.
Our Funding Priorities

Nokom's House
First Nations and Métis researchers are coming together to create Nokom's House, an Indigenous land-based lab and community space built in the University of Guelph Arboretum. This site will encompass gardens, a sacred fire, ceremonial grounds and a granny's cabin where visiting, cooking, creative work and retreat activity can take place. Help us bring Nokom's House to life!

Student Awards
The cost of getting a quality education today continues to rise. On average, an undergraduate student will spend $38,600 on tuition and will graduate with more than $26,000 in student debt. Our generous donors make a direct impact on the financial burden of education. Be the key to a student's success by creating a new scholarship today.

Maplewoods Centre for Family Therapy and Child Psychology
One in five Canadians experience a mental health issue. To tackle today's mental health crisis, we're training the next generation of therapists and clinical psychologists with the leading curriculum in Ontario. With your support, the Maplewoods Centre can expand service to the local community.

Master of Conservation Leadership
Conserving nature at home and around the world is important now more than ever. Responding to this need, we launched the Master of Conservation Leadership (MCL) program in 2020. The first of its kind in Canada, the program emphasizes innovative conservation practice including Indigenous-led conservation governance.

Canada India Research Centre for Learning and Engagement
India has the largest diaspora in the world and the Indian community in Canada has a fascinating story spanning more than a century. Considering this and India's growing geopolitical importance, a body of emerging research is needed. There is much to learn and CIRCLE is the right place to start.
