As a Food Science student, you will apply chemistry, microbiology and physics to the processing and development of new food products and processes.

Food is a multi-billion dollar industry that is influenced by changing socio-economic conditions and evolving tech. As a Food Science student, you will learn the skills and nuances of the industry to contribute to the food system and be able to work anywhere in the world.
Students in the Food Science (FOOD) program may also be interested in studying Microbiology, Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences, Biomedical Toxicology, Biochemistry, Food Industry Management, or other majors.
Gain Valuable Experience Through Co-op
The Co-op program in Food Science is a five-year program, including four work terms, and provides valuable work experience in the Food Science field to help boost your resume, gain additional skills and develop meaningful connections.
