Bio-Medical Science Admission Requirements for High School Student/Graduate Applicants in Alberta
Admission Requirements
Undergraduate degree program applicants from Alberta must present the following:
- High School Diploma
- 5 academic courses at the 30 or 31 level, including required courses for your chosen degree, as outlined below. View the list of all accepted courses for Alberta applicants.
Required courses:
- English 30-1
- Math 30-1
- 2 of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Physics 30
- 1 additional course numbered 30 or 31
Estimated Cut-off Range
86-92%
Estimated cut-off ranges are based on admission averages from previous years and are provided as a point of reference. Exact cut-offs are determined by the quantity and quality of applications received and the space available in the program. Having an average within this range does not guarantee admission
Additional Information
- Two of three senior-level sciences (physics, biology, chemistry) are required for admission; completion of all three is recommended. Applicants who lack the third science course will take a replacement course in semester one.
