- Support for existing agricultural commodities
April 1, 2018 - March 31, 2023
As a requirement, projects are to have collaboration with an industry or other partner, with an anticipated 30-40% of funding to be provided by these partners.
If College-level review is required, your College will communicate its earlier internal deadlines.
Proposals are due to BIC no later than March 31, 2017.
How to Apply
BIC has confirmed the application process is a two stage process. The Call for Proposals is the first step of the application process (similar to an Letter of Intent). If your Proposal is approved by BIC, you will be invited to submit a full funding application.
Step 1. Proposal: Please complete a proposal in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the below Call for Proposals Letter. Researchers will be notified by BIC if they have been invited to submit a full funding application.

Those invited to submit a full funding application must submit their application to the Office of Research two weeks in advance of the sponsor's deadline, along with a signed OR-5.
