Description

Folger Fellows join together to create a high-powered, multidisciplinary community of scholars, who come from different fields but who share cognate interests in literature and history, art and performance, philosophy, religion and politics. The Short-Term Fellowship program supports scholars in residence for one to three months giving them the time and resources to bring their research projects to fruition in the company of other scholars.

Funding Availability

Monthly stipend of $2,500.00 for one to three months duration

How to Apply

Applicants make their submission directly through the on-line portal and must include:

  1. Abstract (250 words)
  2. Description of project, placing particular emphasis on intended work with Folger's collections (1000 words)
  3. CV (2 Pages)
  4. List of primary sources, rare materials or digital assets you wish to consult at the Folger Library (1-2 pages)
  5. Letters of Recommendation (2)
