OCE VIPII - Program Changes Section
Description
Effective August 1, 2018, in order to be leveraged with an NSERC CRD/ARD application (i.e. jointly leveraging the same industry cash), the OCE portion of a project must have a similar start date and the same duration as the NSERC CRD/ARD portion of the project.
For example, if the NSERC CRD being leveraged has start date of August 1, 2018 and duration of 24 months, the corresponding VIPII application must have a start date close to August 1, 2018 and a duration of 24 months. Please note the VIPII project start date is by default the date of project activation and cannot be changed; delayed activation dates to align with longer NSERC CRD/ARD projects will no longer be permitted.
VIPII applications must continue to be submitted in parallel with (i.e. within 3 months of submission of) the NSERC CRD/ARD application. Potential opportunities for joint leveraging must be assessed by an OCE Business Development Manager on a case-by-case basis prior to commencing an application.
