Description

The Office of Research Services in collaboration with the College of Arts, College of Business and Economics, College of Social and Applied Human Sciences, and the Ontario Agricultural College, is offering an information session on the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Programs: Insight, Partnership Engage, and Connection Grants.

12:30pm       Grant Preparation Tips and SSHRC Program Overview: Insight, Connection, Partnership Engage

Presentation by Office of Research Services

12:50pm       Grant-Writing Panel with Guelph Faculty Researchers who Received SSHRC Funding or Served on SSHRC Committees

UofG faculty, including members of SSHRC Evaluation Committees and successful awardees, will provide insight into the peer review process, and tips for writing successful SSHRC Grants. Brief presentations and panel discussion, followed by open Q & A. Moderated by the Colleges.

  • Kimberly Francis, Fine Art and Music, College of Arts
  • Mervyn Horgan, Sociology & Anthropology, College of Social and Applied Human Sciences
