DateLocation
Wednesday June 3, 2015 12:00pm to 1:00pm
UC 441

Description

Led by Lisa Hood, Associate Director Annual Fund, Alumni Affairs and Development and Dr. Dan Gillis, Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science

Crowdfunding is the latest trend in raising revenue – whether for a new product launch, activity or research. If raising money for a potato salad can generate more than $55K, surely a worthy and compelling research initiative can compete in the world of crowdfunding. But it’s trickier than many people think. Join Lisa and Dan as they review the crowdfunding tools available, and the key factors that need to be in place for this idea to be successful.

No reservation necessary.
