Alongside this week's University of Guelph Wheat Breeding Program Field Day 2026, we're pleased to announce a call for proposals for the commercial licensing of two new University of Guelph Soft Red Winter Wheat varieties.

We invite seed companies and commercialization partners to submit licensing proposals outlining intended market, multiplication and distribution on capacity, and proposed royalty/SVUA terms.
Closing Date: Proposals must be received by 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 30th 2026 to be considered.
