Call for Proposals: Two New OAC Winter Wheat Varieties
Alongside this week's University of Guelph Wheat Breeding Program Field Day 2026, we're pleased to announce a call for proposals for the commercial licensing of two new University of Guelph Soft Red Winter Wheat varieties.

Full variety profiles and trial-data packages are available on request.
We invite seed companies and commercialization partners to submit licensing proposals outlining intended market, multiplication and distribution on capacity, and proposed royalty/SVUA terms.
Closing Date: Proposals must be received by 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 30th 2026 to be considered.
Submission Details: Electronic copies of proposals should be submitted to the Research Innovation Office at germplasm@uoguelph.ca, addressed to Stephen Dinka (Technology Transfer Manager - Germplasm.)
