Dr. Peter Kuling [1], a University of Guelph researcher and assistant professor in the School of English and Theatre Studies [2], is using virtual reality to transform how audiences experience theatre. Supported by the Ontario Exchange Network, the Macbeth VR Experience was developed in collaboration with professional actors, students and SimWave VR. Created for educational use, the project offers a new way to engage with Shakespeare’s work and aims to inspire a love of theatre among younger audiences.
