Exam Script

The following message was sent to all faculty and instructors on April 7, 2026:

Dear Colleagues,

As we approach the end of the semester, we would like to remind you of the attached exam script for instructor and invigilator use before in‑person examinations. This script was originally shared in November 2025 and is being recirculated as a reminder for the current exam period.

This script was prepared following discussions at the Council of Associate Deans Academic (CADA) and after gathering feedback from academic chairs. The script, based on the Senate-approved regulations outlined in the calendar, aims to promote clarity and consistency across in‑person examination settings for students, faculty, instructors, and invigilators.

While faculty are not required to read the script, its use is encouraged. Ensuring the script is read before an exam can reduce confusion during the examination, provide a consistent exam experience for students across multiple courses, prevent misunderstandings related to academic integrity, and support fair and consistent resolution if academic misconduct concerns arise.

The exam script is attached as a Word document with highlighted sections that can be adjusted depending on the specifics of your examination.

For further reference, the academic calendar provides information on examinations and academic misconduct.

Sincerely,

Byron
