Daniel Atlin

Daniel Atlin joined the University of Guelph in 2015 as vice-president (external).

Previously, Daniel was Seneca College’s vice-president of strategy and college affairs, a position he held since October 2009. He served as Board secretary at the college from 2009 until September 2014.

Daniel joined Seneca from the University of Toronto, where he served as assistant vice-president of government, institutional and community relations.

Key responsibilities of the Vice-President (External):

  • Maintains positive University relationships with government, and advocates for the University in public policy
  • Oversees communications and marketing, and provides oversight and direction in communications and marketing strategies
  • Oversees University advancement, notably leading in securing public and private support and maintaining the University’s presence in the broader community.
