Joining the UofG
New Faculty Orientation
Welcome to the University of Guelph! We are pleased you have joined our community and look forward to meeting you soon.
In support of the University's commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, and to help you successfully navigate your first and coming years at Guelph, you are invited to take part in the University's New Faculty Orientation.
Coordinated by the Provost's Office, 2011 orientation is scheduled for August 23 and 24. New and recently new faculty are invited to participate. This is a great opportunity to make connections and become oriented to the University culture and teaching and learning context.

Keeping
you connected throughout the academic year, TSS hosts a luncheon series and listserv.
The monthly luncheons are theme based and serve to reconnect you with your peers
and colleagues on topics of instructional interest. The listserv, meanwhile, offers
a forum for discussion providing regular email bulletins and teaching tips.
Don't forget to check out the roster of events, services, and resources offered by Teaching Support Services (e.g., annual teaching conference, WebCT support, learning technology and instructional development workshops, consultations, classroom support (e.g., A/V loans/repair), and much more).
Visit the New Faculty Program or Teaching Support Services (http://www.tss.uoguelph.ca) websites for more information.
