FA

Family and Consumer Studies is the former name of the Macdonald Institute building (MINS).
FACS
Family and Consumer Studies was the name of a College at the University. In 1998 the College of Family and Consumer Studies amalgamated with the College of Social Science to become the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences.

The Federal Building is on Gordon Street just north of the intersection of South Ring Road and Gordon Street. It houses ARC (the Aboriginal Resource Centre).

Fiscal Full-time Equivalent, a measurement used for government reporting in undergraduate programs that is based on the student credit load as a proportion of the normal annual credit load for the program.

Fielding House Fielding House is located at 15 University Avenue East, on the east side of Gordon Street and is the location of DHR.
FIN

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act is a law on access to information and privacy that was instituted as of June 10, 2006 and that applies to all universities in Ontario.

This is a program run by The Wellness Education Centre that encourages balance in all areas of one's life. They can be reached by phone at 519-824-4120 extension 53327.
FRT (f-r-t)
First Response Team is a student run, not for profit team of volunteers, and a division of St. John Ambulance. They provide on call and special event coverage to the University of Guelph community and its visitors in the form of emergency first aid services.

Food Science Building The Food Science Building is located on Gordon Street on the south side of McGilvray Street and is home to the Department of Food Science.
FVC
Future Vet's Club provides support to undergraduate students intending to apply to veterinary colleges, both within Canada and internationally. More information is on the FVC website at http://www.uoguelph.ca/~fvc/.
FVMI
FVMI is a building on the west side of Gordon Street that houses the University of Guelph Business Innovation Zone (uoG-BIZ).
