Renewal of Dr. Jacek Lipkowski’s Honorary Doctorate
Dr. Jacek Lipkowski, professor emeritus in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Guelph, was honoured by the University of Warsaw with the renewal of his honorary doctorate. The distinction recognizes exceptional scientific achievement and longstanding contributions to academia.
An internationally renowned electrochemist, Lipkowski is one of the most highly cited Polish chemists and has spent decades advancing research in the field. Since joining U of G in 1983, he has built an internationally respected research career while also serving as a strong representation for Polish science abroad.
During the ceremony at the University of Warsaw’s historic Kazimierzowski Palace, university leaders praised Lipkowski’s pioneering research, mentorship and impact on the global scientific community.
