Guaranteed Admission Pathway - CCMPS

The Guaranteed Admission Pathway (GAP) in CCMPS offers eligible eligible students and alumni from University of Guelph and University of Guelph-Humber a clear, supported route into select professional and course-based CCMPS master’s programs for 2026.

This pathway recognizes the strength of a Guelph academic background. Through GAP, a limited number of seats are reserved for applicants who meet program-specific admission requirements, reducing uncertainty and simplifying the application process.

Interested GAP candidates can fill out this form to express interest: CCMPS Guaranteed Admission Pathway (GAP) Application. Before applying, please review each program’s website to confirm eligibility requirements, including minimum GPA thresholds, which vary by program.

Eligible undergraduate programs for our GAP vary per desired graduate program. GAP candidates who have not taken one of the listed qualifying programs for their program of interest may still be eligible for an offer of admission - please fill out the GAP Application Form to clarify your eligibility.

Frequently Asked Questions about GAP

Yes, both international and domestic students can utilize the GAP.

All CEPS and CCMPS alumni who completed their eligible qualifying programs can qualify.

Yes, GAP-routed students are still able to qualify for entry scholarships and other funding, if eligible based on requirements.

GAP-routed students must still pay an initial application fee, which is reimbursed in their first semester of the program.

The deadline to utilize GAP for the upcoming fall semester is July 30 for domestic students and March 1 for international students.

GAP candidates will receive a response within one week of submitting their GAP request, provided they have completed all form requirements.

We recognize the strength of a Guelph undergraduate program. The GAP advantage is that you will not need to submit references, you only need to provide an unofficial transcript, and a short turnaround for your acceptance.

You must still meet the minimum requirements outlined in the program requirements section of your desired graduate program. CCMPS graduate programs, including eligible GAP programs, can be found here: CCMPS Graduate Programs.

No, GAP does not allow for deferrals from your initial requested entry point. You will need to re-apply and your application fee will not be reimbursed if you choose not to enroll.
