M.Sc. Computer Science student Bamikole Adewale has received the Best Poster Award (Graphics) at the 2026 Graphics Interface Conference, held this year in Waterloo from June 9-12.

Adewale, first author on the project, worked in collaboration with advisors Dr. Yan Yan, School of Computer Science, and Dr. Randy Lin, Algoma University. The award recognizes excellence in both research and visual communication.

Graphics Interface is one of Canada’s premier conferences in computer graphics and interactive techniques, bringing together researchers and students from across the country to share advances in the field.
