Congratulations to Dr. Aicheng Chen on international electrochemistry award

The University of Guelph congratulates Dr. Aicheng Chen, professor in the Department of Chemistry, on receiving the Brian Conway Prize in Physical Electrochemistry from the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) for 2026. The prize is awarded every two years in recognition of outstanding achievements in physical electrochemistry.

Recognized as part of the ISE Award Winners 2026, Chen was honoured for his significant contributions to physical electrochemistry and electrocatalysis, including research spanning electrochemical interfaces, nanomaterials and in situ/operando approaches.

This international recognition highlights Chen’s leadership in electrochemistry research and the impact of his work on advancing fundamental understanding and innovative applications in the field.
