On Saturday, March 29th, the 53rd annual Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference (SOUSCC) took place at the University of Guelph, hosted by the Department of Chemistry. This conference gives universities the opportunity to showcase the research conducted by their undergraduate students. Sadaqat, a fifth-year Bachelor of Computing, Computer Science co-op student was nominated by his supervisor at Deloitte, for his exceptional 8-month work term with the Tax Gi3 Team. Dr. Ed McBean was awarded the AGGS-Distinguished Fellow Award for his active participation and support for the Association of Global Groundwater Scientists (AGGS). He received the award at the International Groundwater Conference (IGWC-2025) from March 5th to 8th, 2025 at the National Institute of Hydrology in Roorkee, India.
