School of Continuing Studies Receives National Marketing Excellence Award for Evolve Campaign
The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) has been awarded the Gold Marketing Excellence Award from the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education (CAUCE) as part of the 2026 CAUCE Excellence Awards.
The national recognition celebrates the School’s multi-channel Evolve campaign, praised for its creative and impactful strategy to strengthen trust through genuine storytelling while increasing awareness of SCS as a modern, career-focused, learner-centred institution, and authentically Guelph-y.
“We are proud to receive this recognition from CAUCE,” says Dr. Dianne Tyers, assistant vice-president, Continuing Studies. “The Evolve campaign captures our commitment to growth and change, both for the learners we serve and for our department. As learners adapt, develop new skills and pursue new opportunities, we continue to evolve alongside them, creating programs and pathways that support lifelong learning and success.”
The CAUCE Marketing Excellence Awards recognize exceptional marketing initiatives that advance continuing education programs, enhance institutional visibility and contribute to enrolment growth. Entries are judged on their creativity, effectiveness and commitment to values including inclusivity, equity and accessibility. Presented annually, these awards acknowledge exceptional achievements across the continuing education sector, with Gold, Silver and Bronze designations.
A bold, multi-channel campaign that successfully launched a full school rebrand while maintaining trust with existing learners. EVOLVE clearly positioned continuing education as modern, career-focused, and people-centered – and did so with a tone that felt authentic to Guelph’s local identity.
