GFIC Directions and Delivery
Directions
GFIC is part of the Department of Food Science, located on the corner of Gordon St and McGilvray St. (at 88 McGilvray St.)
If you are meeting a GFIC staff member, we will specify which entrance (shown right) to meet at. The North Entrance and Main Entrance are located on McGilvray Street, while the West Entrance is located on Grange Lane.

Parking
GFIC does not have dedicated visitor parking.
When you arrive, you will find metered parking nearby, which uses the paybyphone.com app to pay for and reserve parking. Please download the app in advance of arriving.
Unless otherwise stated, all University parking lots require parking permits. Parking in these spots without a permit will result in fines.

Delivery Access and Dock Information
Our loading docks are at the rear of the building:
Raised Dock (81A) - Hydraulic lift-bridge is 2.1 meters wide (2 x 1 meters)
Level Dock (81B) - Door opening is 3m. wide- no ramp
Drivers: Please call the number (519-400-7834) on our pedestrian door to access the building.
Note: Campus buildings do not have street numbers, however, our building can be located by GPS at 88 McGilvray Street, Guelph. To access the rear of the building, the driver will turn onto Grange Lane from McGilvray Street as indicated on the map.
