This research is being conducted under the direction of Dr. Kristel Thomassin and Dr. Andrew Hamilton-Wright at the University of Guelph's Child Emotion and Mental Health Lab and Dr. Brendan Andrade and Dr. Madison Aitken at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). REB #22-08-018.

Researchers at the University of Guelph's Child Emotion and Mental Health Lab are examining the efficacy of an Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) program called "Families and Feelings First."

We invite parents of children aged 7-15 years with anxiety, depression, or behavioural challenges to attend six two-hour group sessions of EFFT. The fee for six treatment sessions is $240.

As part of the treatment, you and your child are invited to participate in a study involving questionnaires, physiology measurement, and interactive tasks.

You will receive compensation up to $135 (parents) and $60 (children) in gift cards.
