Real Estate Land Use Vision and Strategy
Building a Bright Future
The Real Estate Land Use Vision and Strategy is more than a development plan, it is a bold vision for shaping the future and maximising the University’s potential.
Over the next 40+ years, this strategy will guide the transformation of our non-core land holdings into vibrant, sustainable and complete neighbourhoods where communities can live, learn, work, research, and play.
This strategy is the culmination of an extensive consultation process that engaged a wide array of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students and alumni. By thoughtfully implementing this long-term vision, we aim to optimize revenue generation to strengthen the University’s financial resilience and support our mission to Improve Life for generations to come.
Please stay tuned to this page as we continue to provide news and updates regarding our progress.

A Phased Approach
The Vision and Strategy outlines a phased approach that identifies sites for development in the near-term (one to 10 years), short-term (10 to 20 years), medium-term (20 to 30 years) and long-term (30 to 40+ years).
By dividing projects into phases, we can better plan, budget, and manage risks, while staying flexible.
