Assistant Professor: Libro Professorship in Regional Economic Development Position Available

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) invites applications for the Libro Professorship in Regional Economic Development. The School is involved in Canadian and international planning and development with a focus on rural and remote areas and communities.
 
We are seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure-track stream) with an interest and commitment to regional economic development for southwestern Ontario. Successful candidates must have: a clear potential for effective teaching in the classroom, especially at the Masters or PhD level; experience or demonstrated capability in the supervision of graduate students; a strong research program with the potential to secure funding; and evidence of successful community and stakeholder engagement. Experience in professional planning practice/ economic development is a requirement. This position will play a key role in the Rural Planning and Development (RPD) program.
