Location:

Landscape Architecture, Room 125

Walter Kehm is coming to Guelph!  He will be speaking on the Design Process and his groundbreaking work with LANDinc [1] on Trillium Park in Toronto.

With over three decades of professional experience, Walter has led numerous multi-disciplinary teams of professionals on design and planning projects throughout the world. An expert in sustainable community development parks and recreational design, waterfront regeneration and cultural and institutional campus design, Walter is recognized as an internationally renowned leader and facilitator of landscape architecture and urban design projects. His work is widely published, and he continues to be involved in community workshops and international design competitions.  LANDinc has evolved from a Landscape architecture practice started by Patrick Morello in 1999 to develop into a multi-disciplinary
integrated design firm today. The firm has held onto its position of being a process oriented design firm with a focus on design quality and innovation with economic sensibilities that remains refreshing and unique. As per its name, the firm is rooted in the concept of land as place, meaning, and metaphor. The firm has grown to include successful plans and built projects

When:  Monday, November 12 from 11:45-1:15 in room LA125

Walter is a retired UofG Professor and former Director of the Landscape Architecture program.

He is an inspiring and exciting individual, so this presentation is bound to be worth your while, plus there will be free pizza!
