Rural Immigration Discussion Group

Are you interested in immigration and how it impacts rural communities and regions? Interested to learning more about the theories, practices, and policies of rural immigration? If so, plan to join us on January 23rd from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in Room 140 of the Landscape Architecture Building or connect via Zoom [1]. This gathering will be an opportunity for graduate students and faculty to network with professionals within and outside the school, to share and collaborate on various topic related to immigration. The intention of this informal discussion is to engage in dialogue from a local perspective, and to participate and exchange ideas from various sectors which influence immigration. 

If you are interested in joining the session, please email Menakah Yoharaja [2].  Please feel free to bring your lunch to the session. If you are interested joining for a future session, but unable to join the January 23 please let Menakah know and we can make sure to pass along information about a follow up meeting.
