Submitted by dfoolen on September 12th, 2019 1:35 PM
Date:
Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Location:

Landscape Architecture Pit

On Tuesday, September 17th the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects [1] will be visiting the school, providing an overview of what the organization does and why it’s valuable to get involved, plus, they will be providing a free lunch!

Like every year, the session is part of the BLA/MLA Professional Practice course, but is open to anyone in the school. We have great OALA members coming in to share their personal stories about navigating the LARE exams and licensure process, continuing education opportunities and other topics. Bring your questions, and take advantage of this valuable opportunity!

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
