The Rural Symposium is an annual opportunity for University of Guelph graduate students to showcase their rural research to policy makers, policy analysts, and program staff from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). The event facilitates knowledge mobilization and network building between graduate students at the University of Guelph, researchers, and OMAFRA .

The 2020 Rural Symposium will take place on February 5, 2020, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Conference Centre at 1 Stone Road in Guelph. 

• Organizers are currently seeking abstract submissions from graduate students for oral and poster presentations. The deadline to submit is December 5, 2019.  To submit an abstract please visit the Eventbrite Presentation or Poster Submission link [1]. 
• Registration to attend the 2020 Rural Symposium is now open.  Please visit the Eventbrite 2020 Rural Symposium to register [2].   Registration is free of charge but requested to assist with planning.
