Landscape Architecture Student Society - Winterfest 2015

The time is finally here!!! The Landscape Architecture Student Society have planned out multiple activities, competitions, and food events, spanning over a series of four fun-filled days. It's going to be the greatest Winterfest you'll take part in - the Winterfest of Winterfests, if you will.

It will take place from Wednesday February 25th to Saturday February 28th, 2015, right after reading week! What will this year’s Winterfest events entail, you ask? Well, in one word, awesomeness. But to be more specific, here is a list of plans for the four days:

Day 1: Wednesday, February 25.  *This day is an Ugly Sweater themed day! Wear your comfiest, most unappealing sweaters!
Chili Lunch @ 11:30 AM, in LA Foyer, pay what you can ($3 recommended).
Street Hockey Tournament @ 11:30 AM, on the road in front of LA, please submit teams/sign up via email to Ramy (rpenner@mail.uoguelph.ca).
Board Games @ 11:30 AM, in the pit. Board games supplied, but bring some of your own if you'd like to!

Day 2: Thursday, February 26
Sledding @ 2:00 PM, meeting in the Pit and then going to the hill being Lambton Hall. Some sleds will be available, but bring your own if possible (cafeteria trays work!). Come whenever you can.

Day 3: Friday, February 27
Free Skate @ 6:50 PM, meeting in the Pit to go to Gryphon Centre for 7 PM free skate. Bring your own skates.
Movie Night @ 8:15 PM, screening the Oscar-winning Wes Anderson film, the Grand Budapest Hotel. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be provided.

Day 4: Saturday, February 28
Nerf Gun Battle @ 7:00 PM, $3 each person for Nerf guns or bring your own. Location will be announced later!

That's all you gotta know for now! Any questions or concerns? Contact our Winterfest Coordinators, Sam (shuntwee@mail.uoguelph.ca) and Jill (jalber01@mail.uoguelph.ca)

Come join as many events as you can!
