Date:
Thursday, March 5th, 2020 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Location:

University of Guelph, Arboretum Centre

The OAC Graduate Student Council invites you to join us for the 9th Annual Graduate Colloquium! Registration is now open at: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/2020-oac-graduate-student-colloquium-tickets-90413875335 [1]

The 2020 OAC Grad Colloquium is themed: ‘So What? Making Our Research Relevant’ and will focus on effectively moving research evidence into policy and practice as well as supporting OAC Grad Students in the transition from student researcher to industry thought leaders. The day will feature engaging presentations from experts and emerging leaders as well as opportunities for participants to develop critical knowledge mobilization skills.

The OAC GSC provides a fabulous hot lunch and day of professional development at this annual event but we've had a number of issues with 'no shows' in previous years. In order to combat this, we're charging a small fee to register - but we'll give you half your registration back when you attend! Tickets are $10 (purchased through the Eventbrite link above) – and we'll give you $5 back when we see your smiling face on March 5th.

We look forward to sharing exciting details about our speakers and agenda and hope to see you there!

About Us

The School of Environmental Design and Rural Development (SEDRD) brings together major academic fields concerned with creating strong communities, in Canada and around the world. The four highly respected programs in SEDRD share many common goals but approach them in different and complementary ways. This model reflects the imperatives in building authentic communities where planners, landscape architects, communicators, and citizens all play important interdependent roles in community strength.
