A new journal paper co-authored by Md Kamruzzaman, Ataharul Chowdhury, Helen Hambly and Silvia Sarapura, highlights how agricultural advisory agents use social media to support agricultural innovation in Bangladesh. Ataharul Chowdhury has been collaborating on a Ph.D. project at the Australian National University. From this project, a recent paper was published in the inaugural issue of the Journal Advancements in Agricultural Development. The journal was established by the scholars of agricultural education, extension education, human capacity building, diffusion of innovations, leadership, and communication at the US land grant universities. The paper answers the question, how can agricultural extension and rural advisory services support agricultural innovation to adapt to climate change in the agriculture sector? Based on a review of globally sourced 72 articles, the paper suggests numerous transformative roles for agricultural and advisory service providers in supporting agricultural innovation. The paper argues that it is necessary to extend mandates of the service providers and broaden their scopes by connecting and working with multiple actors and groups within and beyond the agriculture sector.  The paper called "How can agricultural extension and rural advisory services support agricultural innovation to adapt to climate hange in the agriculture sector?"
